The Design Process

Consultation & Proposal
Perform a site evaluation and discuss the Client's goals, budget and the construction process. Draft a proposal for Client review.

Team Kickoff Meeting
The design team reviews the project budget, limitations, programming, and design aesthetic and commences with a design charrette.

Preliminary Estimate
Using the Autocad plan and a rough design layout we prepare an excel spreadsheet which line items each estimated construction cost.

Schematic Design
Layout the site elements creatively while considering flows, accessibility, safety, aesthetics, privacy, microclimate and budget.

Design Development
This is where the team takes the rough Schematic Plan and refine all the design elements and discuss the materials, colors and finishes

Construction Documentation
Completion of the Irrigation, Lighting, Grading and Drainage Plans as well as the refinement of the Construction Plan & Details.

Submittals & Bidding
The completed set of plans will be printed and delivered to the Client for HOA/City for submittals as well as sent to Contractors for bids.

Construction Observation
Offer recommendations to the Client and Landscape Contractor to help ensure the highest construction standards are met and exceeded.
